The History of our Dream Company
Over 10 years ago, Jeff Naylor, a Utah native and an engineering student, fantasized about customizable Christmas lights. He started by designing the layout of an App that would let you change the color of each bulb. After finishing a bachelor’s and master’s degree in engineering he saw the need still existed. An early prototype used a steel strip mounted on a home and magnets on the lights to get their spacing and alignment perfect. This was still not a permanent solution. It wasn’t until a family member’s health made it difficult to put up and take down lights that, a prototype of a true permanent solution was developed. While writing code to create effects for the permanent lights, he found that an amazing, open source software already existed, WLED. With the investment into metal fabricating machines and contacts made in the LED industry, LED Home Lighting was established. Our goal as a company is to share this light with our customers, make their homes customizable with the push of a button, and continue to install the highest tier product on the market.
LED Home Lighting Custom Technology
LED Home Lighting manufactures our mounting system in house. This means, we love and trust our product. We can customize to fit non-traditional home designs. Our mounting system not only hide the lights for view, for a beautiful seamless look, but also protects the wires for UV rays, weather damage, and acts as a heat sink for the LEDs.
Our LED technology is top of the market! They are custom built for LED Home Lighting and we were a part of their design process. We tested and redesign the bulbs a number of times to get the brightest, most colorful, and reliable product on the market. Our LEDs have a dedicated warm white LED to let you select any color temperature you desire. With three LED chips per bulb our lights are designed with longevity in mind.
