Whether you get a new router, the power goes out, or your system doesn’t automatically reconnect after a power outage, these instructions tell you How-To connect your controller to your network

Why would you need this? Your WiFi name and password are saved on your LED Home Lighting controller. If your WiFi name and password change, whether deliberately or because you got a new WiFi router and didn’t , your controller will no longer be able to connect to your network.

When you change your WiFi name or password your light controller will no longer connect. Sometimes the LED Home Lighting system will automatically connect to the a new router if the WiFi name and password are identical to those on your old router.

Start by unplugging your LED Home Lighting control box to reset the system. Wait for 20-30 seconds with the system unplugged, or until all lights inside the box turn off. Once the system has fully turned off plug it back into the outlet. With the system reset a WiFi hotspot will activate on the controller chip. This will let you log onto the controller while it is not on your network. Go to WiFi settings on your phone and search for a new network call LED Home Lighting or WLED-AP. You may need to toggle your WiFi off then on.

Select the new WiFi hotspot. This log directly into WLED or it may prompt you for a WiFi password. For the network named LED Home Lighting, the password is 12345678, for the network named WLED-AP, the password is wled1234. Once you see the screen below select “WIFI SETTINGS”.

Fill in your home WiFi networks name and password then select ‘Save & Connect’.

If the WiFi name and password were entered correctly, you will be kicked out of WLED and sent back to your WiFi settings.
